My next baby-moon destination recommendation is San Diego, California. It is just a very happy place in my mind and so beautiful. And with so many “To-DO” options to choose from.
Beaches : Coming from desert, ocean and the sound of waves seem very fascinating to my soul. San Diego has 17 different beaches to choose from with options to go surfing (which I am hoping people don’t do while pregnant unless they take permission from their doctors), just lie and read a book on the sand, go swimming, just walk by the beach or on the pier , make sand castles, watch sunset, etc.
Balboa Park : An awesome place with lots of parks along with the famous San Diego Zoo , museums, lot of cultural and perfoming art venues. It also provides a perfect scenery to get maternity pictures taken.
Gaslamp Quarter : Gaslamp Quarter offers large number and variety of restaurants, shopping boutiques, accomodations. If you are a party person and want to get most of the crowd, this is where you should definitely plan to visit and spend a day.
Cruises : From the San Diego Harbor you will have options to many dinner cruises or whale watching cruises.
Wine tasting : For the dads (I do not recommend even a sip of wine or any other alcohol when pregnant) there are quite a few local wineries to choose from.
Old Town San Diego To get close to local mexican culture and delicious mexican cuisine you must visit this place. From history tours, parks to art festivals, shopping , music and entertainment , this place has a lot to offer.
There are hundreds of other things that I would want to mention about San Diego and this post will not be enough for it. Pregnant Moms will have a gala time here and that I guarantee!!
